Random Friday Thoughts
You really have to wonder if the courts in India really understand (or care) how the internet works. So you cant see some objectionable religious content from within India, its still there for the rest of the 90% of the world to see. You can please some of the people some of the time, you can please all the people none of the time.
I always liked a good mob T.V. show and Lilyhammer will hopefully fill that void. The first self produced show exclusively for NetFlix with Arrested Development coming next year. Lets hope this will prompt HBO to drop the silly prerequisite for subscribing to HBO through a cable carrier before getting HBO Go without treating their honest customer like a criminal.
File VooMoteZapper remote under totally awesome, but who the heck is going to pay $70 for a remote control, I mean seriously guys.
Watching this video of the Macworld Expo Keynote for 1997 and watching Gil Amelio ramble aimlessly, you can see it in Steve Jobs eyes that he is pissed and ready for action. Looking at Amelio’s hand gestures makes him look like a pompous ass. Some people are able to lead, others to follow and never fool yourself to which type of person you really are.
Here is a pretty cool interview with Professor Leonard Kleinrock, one of the first people present when the first message (LO, it was suppose to be LOG but the system crashed) was sent on the ARPANET from UCLA to Stanford.
Hmm, maybe the Music and Movie industry go to the leaders of Iran. If you cant beat them, then join them.
