That old Apple magic
Let me tell you straight. I love Apple stuff, its fantastic, it works very well and I don’t have to tell people how to use it.
Its fantastically integrated with Application, Music and Movie media. that being said, I cant stand Apple’s hippie, snotty, holier than thou attitude. I always said that if Apple had the power Microsoft has, they would be twice the pain. It seems to be coming true.
I think the tide is going to turn against the iPhone and towards the Google Android phones and even a little toward the new Microsoft Phones towards the end of the year.
The basic point of the Google IO conference last week is a multi prong salvo into the Apple camp, with Phones, TV options, music distribution among others. No wonder Steve Jobs made Eric Schmidt quit the Apple board.
We shall see how Apple returns fire with their WWDC conference in June. Even announcing Apple’s WWDC developer conference they treat their developers like crap. They only give a 30 days notice of exactly when the conference is taking place putting everyone in scramble mode.
Please Apple remember, that the iPhone really didn’t take off until you opened up the App store, and even then you only did it because there was almost an outright revolt.
