That time of year
This should be my favorite time of the year, CES starts in a few days, some whiz bang new device will be announced by Apple at Macworld today and the AVN show starts shortly. I have even (for some unknown reason) been asked to give a presentation at some Economic show in New York in February.
Yes, the spark is missing. Yea, all that new stuff is going to be released, but who is going to buy it ?
I know I cant and that is the problem, most of the people I have talked to are in the same boat. They could buy it and probably everything will be alright but its the uncertainty in the air.
I was in Best Buy the day before Christmas this year, usually its a madhouse, but this year, it was crowded but no where near the level it has been in the past. Everyone knows this already, but when the actual numbers come out from the government, Wall Street will tank for the day. For no REAL reason just for the fact that they think they have to sell after the news is officially released, but long after everyone can see the Christmas selling season was a bust.
Or maybe I am just sulking because my son and daughter are hogging the new new XBOX 360 and I cant get to play.
Yea, that is probably the reason
