It’s NOT a bunch of Tubes
One clear rule when writing this blog, was that I am not suppose to write about Politics, Religion or Sex.
I will write about Politics this week, next week the other two.
Seriously, Ted Stevens was indicated on charges this week of taking bribes. In case you had been hibernating the past year or so, Ted Steven is the 84 year old senator from Alaska that embarrassed himself completely, by making a speech about Net Neutrality and comparing the internet to a bunch of Tubes.
This is a perfect example of big cable/telecoms paying their bribe, oops I mean special interest money to the wrong person. The guy was complaining that the reason his email is so slow getting to him, is because video is clogging up the “tubes” of the internet. It came out later he doesn’t use his own email, his assistants print out the email and it winds up on his desk already filtered.
What a boob.
This week his shady practices finally caught up to him, probably the “tubes” speech brought out the fact that he is OBVIOUSLY a shill for which ever lobbyist pays the price.
I have been looking for a bluetooth headset for my Phones that doesn’t sound so bad that is makes me repeat myself to the person on the other end. I have tried five so far, they have all gone back. The new JawBone 2 is suppose to be nice, but its $129.99 (USD) a little out of my price range. I am going to stick to the wired kind.
I got an email from Borders and Books trying to sell me HD-DVDs for $15 a piece. Umm, this technology is dead folks. They gave up at the beginning of the year. Just get rid of your stock for $5 a piece and they may sell, what clowns run that division?
Every one is giving Hasbro a hard time for cutting off Scrabulous off Facebook. The fact is they offered the Indian brothers money to use their game instead of their own Scrabble. The brothers refused the money, so Hasbro issued the take down notice. Its one of the few times I am on the big company side.
General rule, any website that sets more than 3 seperate cookies is a spam site. Dont care what anyone says.
