Bluetooth goes back

A couple of things over the past few days. The first one is when I went to the local Verizon phone store to get a Bluetooth headset. I lost the wired connector for my iPhone so I figured I would go the whole nine yards and buy a Bluetooth wireless headset. I picked up a cheaper ($49.95) Motorola headset, mostly because it had a mini USB connector I could recharge with and not have to lug around another ac charger.

That was yesterday, today it goes back.

The sound quality was ok, but it sucked the battery life out of the phone really quickly and depending were the phone was the signal go really bad very quickly. I will just buy another wired connector.

Second thing, while I was there I asked about a wireless modem to hook my laptop up to the Internet while on the road. It was $59.95 (USD) a month for the plan but the plan only had 5 gigabytes a month included. I told the guy that the cap seemed a little low, he told me that I would have to download a lot of email to reach that cap. I said welcome to the 21 century, most people are dealing with audio and video on the web now and when an average size of a web page is 300k, that cap will be reached very quickly.
