Zunes and Tin Hats
Yes, I admit it, I have one of the original Microsoft Zune MP3 Players. Its even in brown, I like the the brown, its got the cool green trim. If you ever want to stand out and get people to talk to you, bring your brown colored Microsoft Zune to a Macworld or Apple WWDC convention in San Francisco and have it were people can see it (I also strolled into the Apple store up there).
The reason I bring this subject up is that you hear nothing from the Microsoft Zune camp at all. They released their new Zunes a last year, but nothing, its deafly silent. There last press release was "Zune Arts Unveils Graphic Novel Written by Steve Niles ". Yawn. Its just weird that Microsoft can throw these billions of dollars into a music player platform and be so silent in the form of public relations. My only comment is that on the install on the Zune software, they have the oddest looking people you have even scene.
My buddy and where talking the other day coming back from lunch, remember we are not tin foil hat people. We were talking about this temperature/clock that has a remote sensor and sends temperature information back to the main unit wirelessly. I put it in our freezer downstairs and it still sent back information to the main unit. I was thinking what does that low frequency wide spectrum signal do to our soft tissues and organs of the body. Just think how many wireless signals from how many devices are being sent from the devices around you.
Remember the things they USED to say were good for you.
Hey is any one is going to be at LinuxWorld In August, give me an email.
Later.
